PROJECT GREGGS

Greggs decided that the most reliable renewable technology to invest in was solar PV. After careful due diligence on multiple companies who tendered for the job, Greggs decided to entrust the project to SAS ENERGY. The install process, from inception to completion, took only 6 months with all aspects of the project managed by SAS ENERGY. This included all planning issues, design, installation and project management.

Greggs were the first commercial client of ours to install Solar PV using our RIOS finance option. The scheme had been in the pipeline for almost 12 months, making sure the model would fully benefit the client and see them cash positive from year one. Greggs have seen a great return from the FITs along with a significant reduction in both utility costs and their carbon footprint. With a zero capital investment, Greggs did not have to rely on any budget reviews or set aside finances for a renewable project. Instead, Greggs were able to install the solar, start reducing their energy bills immediately whilst retaining a profit in their first year.
