PROJECT HIGHCROSS
SAS ENERGY had the honour of being invited to tender for over 1MW of rooftop photovoltaic systems across various buildings for HighCross- Pure Offices. After careful due diligence, SAS ENERGY were delighted to have won the Pure Offices tender that was split across 15 sites and made up of 22 separate solar PV installations. Taking each site into consideration and the structural limitations, bespoke solar PV systems were designed and installed to achieve maximum return on investments. System sizes ranged from 30kW to 250kW, allowing the free energy that is generated to be used onsite, by the office tenants.
The installation process took anywhere from 3 to 14 days, depending on the system size and caused no disruption to the clients tenants. SAS ENERGY had strict instructions to maximize system output, therefore used different mounting solutions to ensure the modules took full advantage of south facing to achieve maximum efficiency. Using our professional knowledge and working closely with panel manufacturers, SAS ENERGY tailored each system to the specific site requirements.
Pure Offices were seeking a sustainable solution to reduce their CO2 emissions along with their energy costs. From inception to completion, all elements of the project were managed by SAS ENERGY including planning, design, installation and post maintenance care. Although solar PV is generally self maintained, they may need to be serviced, cleaned and will need to be regularly checked to ensure the system works to its maximum potential. SAS ENERGY will continue to work with HighCross following the final install to make sure that Pure Offices systems will always generate to its maximum capacity. Their 1.1MW installation across the 15 sites is expected to save the company from emitting 600 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere every year.
